About Freespee
The company was founded in 2008 by the entrepreneurs Carl Holmquist and Tobias Lindgren. It all started from an innovation to provide consumers virtual phone numbers that could be used in different online services to protect people's privacy when posting classified ads. They were called "social phone numbers".
Quickly it became clear that there was a new unforeseen demand from the disrupted directory service businesses to track and prove the phone call traffic from print and online advertising. Since then the Freespee platform has had a pivotal role in transforming 'yellow pages' into Local Search and Lead Generation powerhouses. This is however only the beginning – today Call Tracking is used by Classifieds, Affiliate and Performance Marketing publishers and networks to fully monetize their content.
Freespee AB is privately held company owned by its founders, angel investors and venture capital fund Inventure.

Our solutions
The Freespee platform provide carrier-grade connectivity with local telecom partners in all regions we operate in. The platform provides real-time number allocation with either static or dynamic numbers.
Our partners can access the platform in two ways: By using Freespee API or by Freespee Analytics web application.
Freespee API has everything you need to fully integrate into your existing content management or ad serving platform. Integration with web analytics, CRM or call center systems is also possible.
Freespee Analytics is a quick and easy way to access all features of the Freespee platform. It's like web analytics, but even more simpler and more powerful – with graphical analysis tools and leads information on inbound calls. Creating and activating a new Freespee Number on the system takes less than 30 seconds. Freespee Analytics also has an account structure which allows our Partners to provide their advertisers a direct visibility to their call traffic and leads.
