With Freespee Performance, publishers and ad networks are able to start monetizing phone calls that initiate from their media properties. Based on quality factors such as call length (Cost-Per-Lead, CPL) or completed transaction (Cost-Per-Sale, CPS), media value can be optimized and the advertisers can be served with customers who are ready to buy instantly.

Campaign Management

The Campaign module enables creation of multiple pricing models: Variables include unique caller definition, day-of-the-week- and time-of-the-day-based pricing and several Cost-Per-Lead (CPL) price points per call length.

Cost-Per-Lead Pricing

The most typical call advertising pricing model is Cost-Per-Lead (CPL), in which the advertiser pays only for qualified calls, based on the call length. For example, you could charge 2€ for a 30-second call, and 15€ for a 5-minute call.

Cost-Per-Sales Pricing

In Cost-Per-Sales (CPS, or Cost-Per-Action, CPA / Cost-Per-Order, CPO) model, the price per call can be defined on the actual value of a transaction carried out over the phone — either fixed fee, or as a percentage of sales. This requires integration with the advertiser's/merchant's CRM software.

Leads Tracking

Freespee Performance includes all the powerful leads tracking functionality that can be found in Freespee Analytics, as well. Freespee Analytics includes real-time creation and management of tracking methods, such as static phone numbers. When creating a new advertising campaign that requires manual work, new call tracking numbers can be created on the web interface in a snap. There's no limit how many campaigns you can measure!

Advertiser Accounts

Using the Freespee Dashboard web interface with two-tier account structure, publishers can give direct access to their advertisers to take control of their calls. Advertisers can have either read-only accounts, or fully functional accounts allowing them to create new trackable phone numbers in real-time.


Tracking Methods

Freespee Tracking Methods powers all the functionality in the Freespee platform, including the 3rd party applications built using the Freespee API. You could compare them to tracking links embedded on websites. Alternatively, you could use other tracking methods, such as phone numbers provided by local telecom companies, in order to import the required Call Detail Records (CDR) into the Freespee platform — however most people prefer using the Freespee methods.

Trackable Numbers — Static

Static numbers work for many purposes: Online directories and classifieds, display and search, as well as any offline advertising: Print, outdoor, direct mail — even radio and TV. The purpose is to have one fixed phone number for each measurement point, such as a campaign, from which calls are connected to answering numbers.

Trackable Numbers — Dynamic

There are several ways of implementing dynamic numbers — what's in common is that the phone number is displayed through a script on a website. While this is not visible to the user, the number is based on a web session, enabling the most detailed tracking of where the visitor came from, in publisher, ad spot or keyword level.

Online Click-to-Call

This tracking method enables publishers and advertisers to provide a free phone contact method for the consumers. It's based on so called "call-back" functionality, in which the users enter their phone numbers, receive a phone call and only then is the call connected. This is not recommended as a primary contact method.

The Freespee API is a web service built on RESTful principles. Even though REST is merely a software architecture, it is based on the HTTP protocol which is very well known. Like other RESTful APIs, it is simple to understand, build and test your application to enable integration with the Freespee Platform. No fancy programming languages or unusual programming skills are required; all you need to start testing is a web browser.
